LOONEY TUNES IS BACK ON CARTOON NETWORK!!! SOMEONE OUT THERE MUST BE LISTENING TO US! OH JOY! OH RAPTURE! I hope they will also bring back a few other old faves! At least THIS is a positive move in the right direction! Way to go Cartoon Network!!!

Now if only the folks at DISNEY will listen....

CARTOON NETWORK RANT...

It has been a LOOOONNNNNGGGGG time since I got back into the Watertower to tell you what's on my mind regarding the current state of the animation world. One of these rants has to do with the current campaign to make Cartoon Network into some sort of RealTV/cartoon/whatever channel..
First, I'm thinking...well maybe it's a summer thing...all of this will disappear once the fall comes in. I was looking at CN the other day and there's this guy playing the electric guitar singing about Real CN...I'm like...WHAT IS THIS??

The same thing happened with the Disney Channel when they turned the format to all these silly shows and stopped with the classic animation. Now CN is doing this. For example: 6teen and the new cartoon that has a surfing theme are probably made by the same folks (even the voice actors sound the same!) Is anyone making creative cartoons anymore? I think what might be the underlying factor for this change could be viewer demographics. But anyway, I don't think this format is a good idea.

What do you think? I hardly look at CN these days, except when they flash on some old Ed, Edd and Eddie or something like that.
